    Integrating with Yahoo ConnectID

      Article summary

Publishers need a privacy-centric solution to bridge the identity gap while continuing to generate revenue amidst the changes in signal loss and privacy regulations due to the ongoing evolution of the identity landscape. Built on the robust and proprietary Yahoo Identity Graph, Yahoo ConnectID is a future-proofed solution designed to enable ad tech platforms to consistently recognize and match users across the open web.

Yahoo ConnectID provides multiple mechanisms for users to manage their privacy choices. Users can manage their choices via Yahoo ConnectID Control Portal, Yahoo Privacy Dashboard, NAI’s Audience Matched Opt Out page and global privacy frameworks such as CPRA and GPP that align with major global privacy acts. Publishers also have the option to Create an Easy Opt-in Opt-out Toggle as part of their Yahoo ConnectID privacy policies to make it even easier for users to manage their privacy choices.

To simplify consent management and compliance with global privacy frameworks Yahoo recommends Osano, an easy-to-use data privacy platform. Contact your Account Manager for a discount.

      Yahoo ConnectID Integration Methods

We support five integration methods, and the choice is yours. In some cases, multiple integration options apply.

      Note

Use of Yahoo ConnectID requires a new contract or addendum to a current contract. Integrations via a third-party are sometimes covered by an umbrella contract. Please contact your Account Manager or reach out to [email protected] with any questions.

      Activating Next-Gen

Once Yahoo ConnectID integration is completed, Next-Gen Audiences via the Yahoo DSP is automatically activated on your supply within 48 hours. No action is required except to watch for an uplift in revenue from your non-addressable traffic, most visibly on Safari and Firefox.
